A formal, peer-reviewed European venue for research and practice in Enterprise Information Systems, with proceedings published in Springer LNBIP.

The CONFENIS series, revived in Vienna

CONFENIS is the flagship conference of IFIP Working Group 8.9 on Enterprise Information Systems. After hiatus following the 2019 edition, the series resumes at TU Wien in 2027 — anchored in the European tradition of rigorous, formal, peer-reviewed information systems research.

Rigorous peer review

Double-blind, three reviewers per paper, drawn from a 90-member international Programme Committee. Acceptance rate target: 28%. Methodological and theoretical contributions weighted equally with empirical work.

Springer LNBIP proceedings

Accepted full papers published in Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing, indexed in Scopus, DBLP, EI, Google Scholar, Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index.

European academic setting

Hosted at TU Wien — one of Europe's oldest technical universities, founded 1815, in the heart of imperial Vienna. Sessions held in the Kuppelsaal and Boecklsaal of the historic Karlsplatz main building.
