13th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems
Venue and travel
The conference is held in the historic main building of the Vienna University of Technology, in the heart of imperial Vienna, opposite the Karlskirche.
Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) was founded in 1815 as the k.k. Polytechnisches Institut and is the oldest technical university in the German-speaking world. Today it educates approximately 28,000 students across eight faculties, including the largest informatics faculty in Austria.
The Faculty of Informatics, of which the Institute of Information Systems Engineering (E194) is part, has hosted continuous IFIP activity since the 1970s. The Karlsplatz main building, completed in 1818 in classicist style by Joseph Schemerl, hosts the conference sessions in two historic halls — the Kuppelsaal (capacity 280) and the Boecklsaal (capacity 120).
