"This volume contains the papers presented at CONFENIS 2027, the 13th IFIP WG 8.9 International Conference on Research and Practical Issues of Enterprise Information Systems, held at TU Wien on 12–13 September 2027. After a five-year hiatus, the CONFENIS series resumes at the institution that hosted its inaugural edition in 2006. We received 42 submissions from 18 countries. Each paper was reviewed by three Programme Committee members in a fully double-blind process.
